We are SO SMART. How much smarter can we get before everything actually goes to hell?
I have always made fun of bloggers. And yet, here I am. I am a Ph.D. student and I study political rhetoric - which might mean I'm boring. I'm not sure anymore. My friends tell me they can't wait until I have children because it will be awesome to meet a three year old who not only comprehends but can employ sarcasm. Whatever.

So, because I am a horrible accountability partner I hadn't read this until I posted tonight, thus, I find yours (and conversely mine) particularly interesting. Sometimes I wonder if it has already gone to hell and we are just what is left over. Other times I think that the anti-christ (and therefore the second coming) will develop in a test tube. Either way, I guess the point of my comment is this: I love studying biomedical tech. and I think that it holds some really great potential for some really awesome things for mankind. Unfortunately, I use awesome in the sterile dictionary sense of awe inspiring, and awe is not always inspired by good things. Gee... I wish I could have been that clear in my writing tonight. Oh well, hopefully they will read it on here.
